Accounting Technician

Guardian Radiology is accepting applications for a full-time/part-time Accounting Technician position. Starting wage $30/hr, based on experience.

Working as part of the management team, the selected candidate will be responsible for supporting a broad range of functions, including but not limited to:

• Analyzing and interpreting datasets to provide valuable insights and recommendations to the company
• Work closely with departments to gather, analyze and present data for Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting
• Collaborate with stakeholders to answer questions and provide data and analysis to support decision making processes
• Assist with medical billing/insurance submissions

The successful candidate will possess:

• Diploma/degree in accounting or related field
• Relevant experience in data analysis considered an asset
• Proficiency with computers including an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Keen attention to accuracy and detail, as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Effective organization skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and frequent deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with limited supervision
